About

My professional life exists at the crossroads of technology, pedagogy, and people. Based in Tokyo, I serve as Director of Innovation for the Aoba International Education group and Director of Aoba Global Campus, exploring how emerging technologies can create more authentic and effective learning.

This role, combined with my own academic studies in computer science, digital education, and systems thinking, centers on a single, driving question: How can we use new tools not just to be more efficient, but to become more intelligent, capable, and empathetic humans?

It’s a search for systems that don't just scale, but also elevate human potential.

About this site

This site is my personal logbook and digital garden - a place to document work and share my thoughts-in-progress.

I believe in "working with the garage door open." You will find this is less a polished archive and more a real-time exploration of the challenges, questions, and discoveries I encounter.

The articles and resources here are focused on:

Digital Pedagogy: Building and leading modern learning environments.
Systems Thinking: Designing and improving the processes that shape our work.
Ethical Leadership: Managing teams with empathy, clarity, and a strong moral compass.
Continuous Improvement: The personal pursuit of a more capable and actualized self.

It's my hope that these reflections might spark a new idea or prove useful in your own journey.
