Collaborated with team members in a fully Japanese work environment on projects for Japanese corporate clients.
Notable Projects
Online School
Led development and launch of an internationally accredited online school “Aoba Global Campus” under the Aoba International Education Group.
Online IBDP Pilot Project
Led initial project tender as well as ongoing cooperative pilot project with the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) to develop and pilot a fully online International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) covering the APAC region.
New School Development
Co-led project to develop and open a new 250 student capacity, international curriculum high school in Tokyo, covering architectural, construction, staffing, technology, legal/compliance, curriculum/program, and other aspects.
School Renovation
Led technological portion of a whole-school renovation project for a 600 student capacity elementary and middle school in Tokyo Including total replacement and upgrade of all networking, display, and other technology infrastructure from scratch.
LMS Implementation
Led a phased 3 year project to implement Canvas LMS across a multi-school education group to 1500 user base. Oversaw technical, curricular, and pedagogical elements of LMS implementation.
Education Non-Profit Organisation (NPO)
Cofounded Tokyo-based education NPO “The Center For Innovation” with the mission of working with public and private partners in Japan and abroad to facilitate cross-border and cross-cultural education innovation.
